More about Bambo Nature...
Manufactured in Denmark, Bambo Nature holds the "Swan" logo - the official environmental labelling in Scandinavia. 
The criteria are based on evaluation of the environmental impacts during the actual products' life cycle, from the beginning of production right through to the end result. It is important to remember that environmental impact also occurs before and during production and not only when finally disposing of the used nappy.

Some of the strict requirements imposed on nappies by the "Swan" label are:
- No optical brighteners (Bambo Nature nappies are oxygen bleached)
- A minimum level of renewable raw materials must be used
- A maximum limit for production waste created in the manufacturing process is imposed
- No use of moisturising lotion is allowed
- Production of ecolabelled products must fulfil all local and national environmental requirements
Some features of the Bambo Nature nappies:
- Environmentally friendly state-of-the-art raw materials are used to produce a slim, absorbent and comfortable nappy without compromising it's absorbency.
- Free from unnecessary chemicals such as perfume, lotions, deodorants and Chlorine
- The nappy was developed in close partnership with parents so the product is both practical and user friendly.
- The breathable backsheet allows air to circulate to the skin reducing moisture content, thereby reducing the risk of skin irritation.
- Re-sealable fastening tapes
- Extra stretchy elasticity along the back waist
- Leakage barriers
- Increased absorption
- Friendly animal pictures on the front of each nappy with clear sizing numbers
Disposal of Bambo Nature nappies:
The manufacturer says:
"If parents wish to put the soiled nappy into
compost, they will have to separate the nappy by hand removing the fluff
and placing it into the compost. It is difficult to specify how long it
will take a products to decompose depending on factors such as
temperature, moisture content in the compost etc."
We have a Naturebotts customer testing the nappies in their compost, so we'll keep you updated.
