FOREVER ANGELS
We are proud to support the Forever Angels Baby Home - the first project of the Forever Angels UK
charity, whose aim is to promote & raise awareness of orphaned &
abandoned children in Tanzania.
The Baby Home is in Mwanza on the shores of Lake Victoria in Tanzania.
They provide a stable, loving home for (currently) 32 orphaned and abandoned babies (such as Mary, below) and infants who are severely disadvantaged, giving them nutrition, love, health care, physical and emotional support until the child is either fostered, adopted or reunited with their family.
They hope to be able to have up to 50 babies soon.
The orphanage is managed by Ben & Amy Hathaway, both UK citizens,
(who themselves have adopted Barnabas, Tia & Molly) and is staffed by
trained and dedicated Tanzanian carers and trainees.

4th January 2008 - UPDATE - THANK YOU so much for your donations which have so far added up to £221 in 2 months!!
Today we have sent 7 boxes of nappies, a total of 132 packs of wipes, 12 packs of cotton wool balls and a total of 1800 nappy liners to the UK based secretary of the charity to the value of £221 at cost price (not including delivery).
These items are all vital for the orphanage to keep their babies and children healthy and clean. Please do consider helping with our next delivery. Thank you.
25th March 2008 - UPDATE - so far you lovely Naturebotts customers have donated £494.00!
The Forever Angels team are so pleased and thankful for your amazing generosity. We recently had an update about the orphanage which brought tears to the eyes of everyone in the Naturebotts office.
Not all of their babies survive, such as little Adella, left, who was
born on November 26th 2007. She was born 6 weeks prematurely and weighed
just 1.52kg. Sadly, her Mum died when she was 2 weeks old and her Father
was unable to care for her while she was so tiny.
Adella was not feeding well and after just 1week she was admitted back to hospital where she died on January 5th 2008 after a hard fight. She is now at peace with her Mother and missed by all at the orphanage but is free from her suffering.
